Personal Best announced today the launch of founder and CEO Olive Gallagher’s book, A Simple Path to The Good Life™, published by Rising Moon Press.

The respected ethicist, TV host and producer of the award-winning series, The Inner Bottom Line®, who writes a nationally syndicated weekly column of the same name currently found in first run in the Santa Fe New Mexican, the oldest and most prestigious newspaper in New Mexico, is currently preparing for a year-long book tour that will take across the United States and begins with media appearances and a book signings at a Barnes & Noble store in Berkeley, California.

Gallagher’s book focuses on the innovative, common sense philosophy she’s been delivering to companies and individuals since 1985 and includes unique, effective concepts such as Playing with a Full Deck™ and Responsible Power™. “It’s not rocket science,” Gallagher explains. “Most practical, useful tools and ideas aren’t. The four ethical values and concepts that comprise The Inner Bottom Line are simple and accessible. Our values determine the choices we make,” she continues. “And in the end, our choices determine the value of our life.”

Gallagher goes on. “We make thousands of choices every day. And every choice has a price. We eat that donut, we gain a pound. We take that road instead of the usual turn-off, we end up in a traffic jam and lose an extra half hour of time. And then there are the big choices we rationalize ourselves into, such as staying in an abusive, disrespectful relationship because it’s better than being alone. The price, the cost to our heart, our health, our emotional well being, is much too high. And on The Inner Bottom Line, when the price gets too high, we reach break point and then, something’s gotta give.”
