PERSONAL BEST® MOVES THE INNER BOTTOM LINE COLUMN® TO NATIONAL EDITION OF EXAMINER.COM

Santa Monica, CA – Olive Gallagher, founder and CEO of Personal Best, a creative marketing and ethics consultancy, announced a new online home for The Inner Bottom Line to the national edition of examiner.com.

Gallagher explains, “Ever since the first column appeared in 1996 as a feature in Marcom Choices, a monthly publication in Silicon Valley, the public response confirmed there a need for a safe place to ask questions about ethical dilemmas and personal choices and receive back support, encouragement, and viable, realistic options that could help resolve their stress along with the issue.”

Gallagher suggests the positivity and simplicity of the concept is the key to the column’s broad appeal. “We all have the same human problems. Relationship and family conflicts, work stresses and obstacles, health issues, personal insecurities, etc. As an ethicist rather than therapist, I pose questions and offer common sense suggestions and options to all kinds of universal issues,” she adds. “I never tell anyone what to do, but rather offer possibilities that empower, support and encourage changes in perspective, attitude and choices.”

After monthly publication in Marcom Choices for four years, the column moved into online syndication with isyndicate.com in 2000 and then, after Gallagher relocated to Santa Fe, NM, blossomed and entered first run in the weekly Sunday edition of The Santa Fe New Mexican, the oldest newspaper in the state. Now, with the move to examiner.com, The Inner Bottom Line will reach a fresh audience again.

The philosophy of The Inner Bottom Line is realistic, simple and accessible. Gallagher continues, “The Inner Bottom Line is the only truly private place inside of us that belongs solely to us, and that make it priceless. In the end, the values in our life determine the choices we make, and the choices we make determine the value of our life.”

Gallagher, author of The Nude Ethicist: A Simple Path to The Good Life™, is a 2009 Screenwriting Fellow of the American Film Institute Conservatory, holds a BA in Humanities from Case Western Reserve University, and has been a successful public speaker, producer, creative marketing and advertising executive and ASCAP composer.
