Welcome back to The Inner Bottom Line®,  brought to you by Personal Best®.

We’re continuing to work hard to refine our focus and build you a site that incorporates the most effective tools and resources that will help you run your life and your business more successfully and profitably as well as update your core values,  make better choices in your busy life, create a current Short List so that you’re always Playing With a Full Deck, and cope effectively with killer stress and those every-day ethical dilemmas and choices that are bound to keep you up at night.

If you’re anything like me, when I’m confronted day after day, month after month, with a constantly frustrating, never-getting-better, taxing and costly  situation,  whether in the office or a personal relationship, and I start to have that endless conversation or argument with myself that keeps me awake all night, I know I’m approaching breakpoint when I’m going to have to put up or shut up.

At that point, rationalizing or making excuses just doesn’t cut it anymore and I know it’s time to hunker down and deal with it.

That’s when being ready and able to find clarity and figure out which of my non-negotiable values are being trampled on makes all the difference in the world.  And of course,  when I get to that point, I also have to accept that no matter what, things are going to change, and I have to be willing to take responsibility for my actions and decisions. At that point, standing on my own Inner Bottom Line, all the clutter starts to clear away and I know I’m on my way to getting unstuck and moving forward.  Whew, it’s such a relief!

That’s what we’re here to help you do, too, whether you’re dealing with a bottom line, executive hire or employee that’s underperforming , a cheating partner, impossible-to-please family members, stress from co-workers or job-hunting, too much debt, a best friend who sucks you dry, or any other scenario that’s weighing you down and keeping your mind and heart from functioning at its personal best.

YOU ALWAYS HAVE A CHOICE. Ultimately, you are in control of your life.

Your Inner Bottom Line always hits and impacts your bottom line – in the office and at home.

So when someone says, “it’s not personal, it’s just business,” remember, it’s always personal. It always comes down to a relationship. And you deserve to be at your best to enjoy it all and only choose to be in relationships in which you are treated with respect, dignity, fairness, honest and integrity.

Several weeks from now, I’ll be starting my new radio show, “The Inner Bottom Line,” on blogtalkradio.com on which I’ll be focusing on how the Inner Bottom Line always impacts bottom line decisions and tackling dilemmas and questions from listeners.

So thanks for your comments – at least the ones that aren’t trying to sell us something! – we appreciate your feedback. And please, send us your ethical dilemmas and the things that are keeping you awake at night.

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Olive
